GIVE AND GET BACK FUNDRAISER!
Thank you for participating in our Annual Give and Get Back Fundraiser. In light of the increasing risk of COVID-19, Yo Art is developing innovative ideas to bring technology - driven arts to students virtually. With donations, Yo Art will continue our commitment to enhance everyday classroom curriculum with media arts programs designed to spark students' curiosity and teach real-world skills. An essential component to Yo Art is hands on and site-specific field trips to engage the students beyond the classroom. Any donation $150 or more, the donor will have the opportunity to select an original photograph. Be sure to choose your piece quickly while this limited collection lasts. We have hand selected framed pieces taken by our talented students within our digital photography classes: JERRY ZUCKER MIDDLE SCHOOL The seventh-grade students took a field trip to the Dorchester Fire Station photographing and interviewing the men and women who work there and then learned Adobe Photoshop and design skills to create posters about their experience. Angel Oak Elementary Exhibit These photos illustrate a field trip to Night Heron Park on Kiawah Island where seventy-two Angel Oak fifth graders explored ecosystems. With us staff and members of the Kiawah Photo Club in a joint partnership with Yo Art Inc. The students documented in photography and notes different facets of their science lessons and brought what they learned and photographed back to their classrooms. Mitchell Elementary These photos taken by fourth grade students illustrate their lesson on "Concepts of Light''. The students had a field trip to Bob Hines Glass Studio, took photos, and then created a Keynote presentation for their classmates.
